Miss. Mei has been working with us for some weeks now, and Im already seeing big
positive changes in my child and I requested her if I could leave her a review. Miss. Mei’s
way of interacting with kids, her preparations for every class, her ongoing discussions with
parents and her background being an experienced DOE teacher were some ... Show more

Gifted Genius Prep is an amazing company I highly recommend! My children have been
tutoring with this company starting the beginning of the school year and I see them
flourishing in learning a new language. They are professional and provide stellar learning
experience for children. Again, I highly recommend using their services for la... Show more

We had an excellent experience with the Ms. Mei. Mei, the owner was always on time and
good with kids. She is also a teacher and that truly helped assess our kids needs. I highly
recommend her for her hard work and efficiency. She went to our home to tutor our two
girls for the OLSAT and my youngest got accepted to her top choice school!

Mei tutors my son and is absolutely rock solid in her commitment to tutoring with every
professional element including timeliness, being fully focused during intake prep and
sessions, feeling clearly vested in tutoring, comes with all materials pre-sorted, plans well
in advance with much time and labor, and overall makes tutoring truly impac... Show more

I hace to say at first I was a bit worried about the tutoring services obtained online. But I
have to admit I am thrilled with the knowledge, professionalism and caring of Cindy. She is
amazing. My kids love her and they have learned SO MUCH with her. I would recommend
her 100% to anyone. Very pleased and happy 😊

    Frequently asked questions

    1. Ask parents/caregivers for report cards, H.W., tests, etc. to understand students' strengths and areas of need.

    2. Conduct a free 30-45 minute assessment.

    3. Type up a report/education plan.

    4. Tutor student while keeping communication open with parents/caregivers, and school staff.

I have 3 education degrees that led to certification.

    General Education (1-6 Grade)

    TESOL/ESL (Prek- Adult)

    Spanish (PreK-6 Grade)

Complimentary consultation and assessment. Sessions start at $25 for 30 minutes. Then you pay as you go after each session (by midnight). No contract.

I started teaching while I was in college studying elementary education. I have gained over 10 years of experience teaching in public schools, charter schools, tutoring centers, and now the founder/lead tutor of my tutoring company.

I have extensive experience with Students with Special Needs,  English Language Learners, and Gifted Students. They range from age 3- adult. My expertise is with ages 4-12 years old or PreK-6th grade.

I'm very humbled to share that one of my 2nd graders that I tutor jumped from level F to a letter M in just about 6 months. Another accomplishment is that my 5th grade student aced her Math exam with high 90s while before she was only getting 60s before tutoring.

The advice I would give a student seeking to hire a teacher is to believe they can excel and don't feel ashamed for investing in their academia.

    1. What are my current areas of strengths an d what are the areas I need the most support with?

    2. How often should I take classes?

    3. How long of a session do I perform the best at? (30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins, 75 mins, 90 mins)?

    4. Do I prefer in person or online/virtual?
