When starting with new students, my process involves setting clear goals, creating a schedule and timeline, outlining potential challenges, and developing tailored solutions. I also identify your learning style and specific needs, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. Additionally, we will take the time to get to know each other to build a strong foundation for our work together. These elements are reevaluated at clearly marked dates to ensure continuous progress and adaptation.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Touro College, where I was honored to be on the Dean's List and a member of the honor society. Additionally, I earned a Master's degree in Education from Brooklyn College. My teaching experience spans private schools, public schools, and the prestigious Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program. Beyond classroom teaching, I have also provided private tutoring, allowing me to work closely with students to achieve their academic goals.

I charge $65 per hour.

I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students across various educational levels, including elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and graduate programs. My experience spans from teaching exceptionally gifted and talented students in specialized programs like the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) to assisting those with substantial educational gaps to bridge their learning effectively. In elementary and middle schools, I focused on foundational skills and fostering a love for learning. At the high school level, I have taught Advanced Placement (AP) courses and standard curricula, preparing students for college and beyond. My work with college and graduate students involved more advanced, discipline-specific tutoring, aiding them in achieving academic excellence in their respective fields. My comprehensive teaching background has equipped me with the ability to tailor my instructional methods to suit the unique needs and learning styles of each student, ensuring they receive personalized and effective support. This versatility and dedication to student success are central to my approach as an educator.
