Professional Profile

Lover of books. Reading and writing promoter. I was fortunate to acquire the foundations to train in this profession starting in 2011 with Fundalectura, in the city of Bogotá. I had the opportunity to participate in different reading promotion projects such as: reading in unconventional spaces (parks, market squares and hospitals). On the book selection committee for the creation of the seed library for public schools nationwide. In “Reading Festival”, a project directed by the Ministry of Culture and Fundalectura, training community mothers from the ICBF in the approach to books and reading for early childhood in the department of Sucre.

Thanks to the fertile experience with Fundalectura, in 2015 I joined the IDARTES team as a Training Artist in the Literary Creation Area. For this reason I was motivated to participate in different literary creation workshops such as: The Los unpresentables poetry workshop of the Casa de la Poesía Silva (2017); Story Workshop of the Central University with teacher Isaías Peña (2018); Bogotá City Novel Workshop by Idartes with the writer Fernanda Trias (2019); Reading and writing workshop at the Javeriana University (2020); Story Workshop with the writer Andrés Mauricio Muñoz (2020).

Services:

Teaching Spanish as a second language for children, young people and adults through: the promotion of reading and writing, music, cinema and Colombian and Latin American culture.
