Hello friends - I have been a professional guitarist for over 30 years. I have a BA in Music and I've performed on stage with Lennie Kravitz, members of Hall and Oates and Todd Rundgrens Band. You may have seen me perform at a major venue like Radio City, My Fathers Place or the City Winery. "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" hired me to transcibe classic rock songs for their magazne. You can stiill see some of my transcriptions on iine. I've been lucky to have studied with Pat Martino, John Scofield, and Oz Noy. I taught for many years at the Great Neck Music Center as well as privately.
I love to teach various styles including Rock, Blues, Country and Jazz. My biggest thrill is enabling students to pursue their own particular passion for music and have fun with it. I accept students of all levels and look forward to meeting you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First discuss what the student would like to learn, what music they listen to, and musicians they admire. Hear and evaluate the student. Customize a lesson plan that will suit the students ability and interest
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in music and have studied with some of the finest musician. I am patient and encouraging.
