Hi! I'm an art tutor with over two years of tutoring experience and eleven years of professional design experience. I earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and studied for a Master of Architecture at Yale University in 2020. I love using my academic, art, and design experience to help my students improve their drawing, painting, and sculpting skills. I craft my lessons to build upon my student's unique personal interests and goals. I teach all ages, and specialize in helping students prepare portfolios for art school applications. I focus on helping to build a strong foundation of skills, especially drawing from life. I’m passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with my students and seeing their confidence grow!

Ciara is a find! Sensitive, brilliant and very tuned into the child she is working with. She guided our 13 year old daughter through several demanding art projects with incredible grace. Ciara would share techniques and insights, but she always made sure that our daughter was doing the work herself. Ciara is a gifted art educator and we were so lucky to find her.
