Art Mentoring & Portfolio Development

Hey there! I’m Clarke, and I am a creative director, artist, and arts educator. My professional background is in Product Design, 3D Design, Graphic Design, and Architecture, and I hold a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. I am an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts, where I teach multi-media courses in the MFA Photography program, and am a full time creative director at a technology startup. I love working with middle and high school students, particularly when it comes to portfolio prep. I often volunteer as a portfolio reviewer for RISD and SVA, and am well versed in admissions criteria for top art and design schools. My approach to portfolio prep is holistic and focuses on developing technical and creative skills, project development, constructive critique, and writing artist statements.
