Experienced High School/College Mathematics Tutor
About
Math is amazing! It's an amazing feeling to master a difficult concept in class, and it's an amazing feeling to help someone understand that concept as well. I'm usually quick to respond, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you'd like to schedule a lesson.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my new students. I feel that developing a closer relationship makes students feel more engaged and more likely to ask questions. When I meet a new student, I'll introduce myself and explain to them what excites me about math. Then, I'll ask the student a few question about themself (describe their education background, preferred teaching style, etc).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an undergraduate currently studying mathematics at Binghamton University. Before I went to college, I tutored other high school kids in math and science. Since last year, I have been working as a teaching assistant for a calculus class at my school, therefore I'm familiar with which parts of math curriculum students struggle with, and how to make them easier to understand. Needless to say, I love math! And I love helping people understand math, which is why I find tutoring so fulfilling.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $40 per hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of students, from elementry schoolers, to adults who've gone back to college, and everything in between. I have experience tutoring mathematics curriculum from elementary school all the way up to college-level calculus.
