Kaity, a highly skilled tutor, graduated Magna cum laude from Centenary College of Louisiana, with a double major in French and Chemistry, and a minor in Gender Studies, while also being a 4-year NCAA athlete in gymnastics. Kaity was on the Dean's List every semester of college, and was awarded the Verba J. Schwab Memorial Award In Leadership for the school's freshman female student demonstrating the most potential to excell as a leader. Her junior year she was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in Analytical Chemistry. She was an Academic All American for gymnastics her freshman through senior year, as well as a Midwest Independent Conference Scholar Athlete all 4 years. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, she was also her school's Diversity Training and Publicity Intern. Kaity scored exceptionally well on the GRE, and upon graduation from undergrad she immediately began the Masters of Public Health Nutrition program at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to French, Kaity also speaks Mandarin Chinese with proficient fluency and has spent time living in Hangzhou, China. She has also traveled to Taiwan, Shanghai, and Paris, France. Kaity has years of experience as a Chinese, French, and math tutor, and has a strong passion for sharing her knowledge with others. She is also a fitness & nutrition expert, with her certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Kaity scored a 32 on the ACT. Kaity is a patient, caring tutor who caters to the individual learning styles of her students.
Kaity absolutely loves teaching and helping her students reach their goals. She has a knack for languages and feels called to share that gift with others. She fell in love with the French and Chinese languages and cultures, and sharing her passion with others ignites her spirit. Foreign languages open up a world of opportunities to us as individuals, and in our increasingly globalized society Kaity believes that knowing multiple languages is the key to success. She loves being able to see her students progress, and become proficient foreign language speakers.
