About
I am a 42 year old mother and certified substitute teacher who has substituted at various schools in the Las Vegas/Henderson/North Las Vegas area for K-12 for the last 2 years. I have also worked with students under the special education umbrella with IEP's, 504's, etc.. I also have home schooled my own children previously for 3 years, and one of my children have an existing IEP for ADHD. I consider myself a life long student and teacher, while having degrees in arts, general studies and I am a year out from gaining degrees in science, and kinesiology. I feel that knowledge is power and growth. It is a life long journey. I am enthusiastic and persistent with all my students because my expectation is for them to ultimately learn and understand the subject/material.
