About
In 2018 I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Psychology. As I continue pursuing my education, I am applying to medical school. As a student myself, I understand the struggles of not understanding your teachers or professors and feeling stressed due to course loads and exams/presentations. I have experience tutoring kids as young as six years old to university students taking upper division science courses. I am here to help you succeed!
Although learning can be frustrating at times, it can also be an incredibly rewarding experience. Many times, when I first meet students, they are discouraged when they do not understand a particular subject and they often shy away from wanting to learn more about it. In my approach, I help students understand the subject and also how they best learn. In doing so, students become equipped to learn any subject and no longer shy away from any learning opportunity.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student has their own unique learning style and I do my best to understand every students needs. As I get to know the student, where their short comings are, and how they best learn, I cater to the student by customizing a study plan fit for them. I help students learn not only the subject material they are struggling with, but I also help to teach HOW to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my Bachelors of Science with a concentration in biology and psychology. I am currently applying to medical school and have thorough experiences in both taking classes and teaching classes. With 4 years of experience, I have worked with students as young as five years old all the way through to university level students. Having taught and tutored at all these levels, I look forward to helping students of all ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies depending on subject and student needs. Please contact for more info.
How did you get started teaching?
From a young age, I recognized the power of education. The more you learn, the better you live. As a future medical student and life long learner, I hope to be able to share the knowledge of the learning process with those who are also interested in expanding their minds. With every teaching experience, I continue to learn and improve myself, working to be able to do the same for the students I work with.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in the United States and internationally from grades K-12 and all the way up to university level students. I have taught ESL, sciences, math, and various other subjects at all levels. I look forward to working with students and helping show them that learning can be fun.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Each student should understand where they need help and look to find a teacher who will be compatible with how they learn. Some students need additional help because they do not understand the way their teacher/professor teaches. Other students may require learning how to study to be more efficient. Regardless, the student's learning style and the teacher's teaching methods should be a harmonious match to acheive the best results.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should try multiple ways to learn the material and understand where their short comings are stemming from. This requires effort on the students part but is a critical step in improving study habits that will result in better grades and test scores. If possible, students should also be able to outline what they have done which has led to success and where they still need additional help. This way, both student and teacher can work well together to achieve success.
