My Passion:
It'd be cheap of me to just say I love teaching. Sometimes when I daydream I think about being a teaching, or giving a presentation to students, or when I'm bored in class thinking about a way that I would explain and teaching something and motivate my students to learn. Two of my favorite films are "Stand and Deliver" and "The Marva Collins Story", which are about teachers who go to underprivileged areas and inspire the kids to get an education. I didn't come from privilege, so when I teach I do it with an intent to give back and help out students like myself, ones who are ambitious but lack the resources to realize their goals.
My teaching started from an early age when I tutored 6th graders in middle school who were struggling in math and continues to this day. I taught SAT seminars at my high school, public speaking classes, and leadership classes. In recent times, I have taught and tutored physics, dancing, Spanish, and mathematics.
I am very entertaining and easy to talk to and if you're interested in getting ahead then I'm doubly interested in helping you out!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For me, deep connections are important in any teaching relation, so for our first lesson, I will get to know them better. I will also evaluate my student's needs, goals, learning style, and strengths.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There's this dog my neighbor has. For context, I live in a 2 story house and I can see my neighbor's backyard from my room. Anyways, Whenever I work during the day, I can see the dog and anytime it sees me it automatically stare me down and I always smile and wave at it. Not sure what breed it is.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do look over testimonials, or at least get them to schedule a trial lesson.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
