My name is Dan Tripamer. I have been teaching high school mathematics for 29 years. 27 of those, I have specialized in geometry. I am currently teaching pre-calculus. I also teach at the College of Southern Nevada, where I have taught pre-calculus, college algebra, and fundamentals of college mathematics.

We teach math in the way that makes sense to each individual student. We focus on conceptual development and deeper understanding of the material. We develop mathematical intuition and number sense... and most of all, we increase confidence and teach students how to enjoy learning math! I love teaching math. It is my life's passion and purpose. I love sitting with students and watching them experience that "light bulb" moment when the understanding happens. I love seeing students learn to enjoy math instead of fearing it. I am a certified Reading Specialist, K-8 highly qualified teacher, and K-12 practicing school administrator. I enjoy helping families who are struggling with how to help their children, especially in grades K-7. I can help diagnose reading difficulties and quickly develop a plan for improvement. Helping children fall in love with reading is my main goal, and it IS possible with the right interventions. I am an upcoming high school graduate. I like to keep myself busy with my 10+ extracurriculars and 5+ AP classes. I can be trusted with many responsibilities and maintain an efficient work ethic.
