Club Christ Henderson Center
About
Club Christ Henderson Center is part of Club Christ, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2004 and based in Henderson, NV, serving youth in under-resourced communities across the Las Vegas Valley. The Henderson Center operates inside the Landsman Gardens Housing Community, delivering weekday after-school programs where students live. Services include K–6 tutoring supported by individualized learning plans, one-on-one mentoring, age-appropriate Bible studies, and teen leadership development.
Across its four Learning Centers in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson, Club Christ serves more than 160 K–12 students. Since 2004, its tutoring and mentoring programs have used assessments that help elementary participants typically improve one to two grade levels per year in reading. The organization’s mission is to empower urban youth to transform their communities for Christ, and its apartment-based model provides consistent academic support within each neighborhood.
Families can expect structured weekly sessions for elementary tutoring and Bible study, along with dedicated times for teen leadership and Bible study. Club Christ Henderson Center supports academic growth, spiritual development, and readiness for college and careers.
