While I was in the Army, I volunteered as a tutor in the Laubach Literacy program. This valuable experience inspired me to go back to school to learn more about the English language and the craft of writing. Thus, in 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Arizona - Global Campus. And in 2022 I completed my Master of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. My studies included nonfiction writing (essay, composition, memoir), fiction writing (short story, novel, screen-writing), ESL/ELL, language learning disorders, American literature, and other subjects

Hello! I am a former teacher who taught grades 1st through 9th grades. I specialize in younger students but can help tutor anyone willing to put in the work. I tutored high school student for 2 years though the Boys and Girls Club and was an elementary teacher for 2 years as well. I have a bachelors degree in liberal studies and have a teaching credential through the Cal State Teach teacher program. I am certified to teach English and Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies.
