Hi there! My name is Ms.Ward, for the past three years I have been studying elementary education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and I am currenlty finishing up my degree and graduate in may of 2022. We all know how sacrificial 2020 was on our lives and experiencing virtual education set many students back. I want to help any students who are struggling in the new school year, or any students who have a goal they would like to meet. I am passionate about education as I do believe in diverse education, meaning that I choose to find innovative and creative ways to meet the needs of each individual learner, as everyone learns a little different. I work with inquiry based learning, project based learning and much more, I will work with k-12 and coach learners to success!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with a new student, it's important to me to determine their learning style, interests, and goals. Our first meet usually would revolve around the student that way I am able to modify lessons to fit student needs and interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am finishing my bachelors in education currently, I have taken many courses focuses on teaching.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible with my pricing, usually anywhere from $20.00-$30.00 an hour, depening on the material.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion for working with others, growing up as a big sister of two showed me how much I enjoy guiding and seeing people succeed and meet goals. As soon as I applied for college, I went with the College of Education, and my passion has only grown brighter.
