Summit Scholars Tutoring
About
Hi! My name is Liam, and I am a mechanical engineering student minoring in Japanese. I have consistently excelled in math and science and am currently taking Calculus III along with advanced science and Japanese courses. I have several years of tutoring experience both in school and independently, working with students of different learning styles and ability levels.
When tutoring, I focus on making difficult concepts simple, clear, and intuitive. I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as knowing how to do it, especially in math and science. I aim to create a supportive, low-stress learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
I am patient, organized, and adaptable, and I tailor each session to match the student’s goals, pace, and learning style. Whether the goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, building confidence, or mastering difficult topics, I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential. My background in both STEM and Japanese allows me to offer structured, effective tutoring that builds strong fundamentals and long-term understanding.
