What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is to analyze what areas of the subject the student is truly struggling with. Based on this knowledge, I can create lesson plans to help the child learn gradually. I have found that it is always helpful to break things down so that the student can gain a deeper understanding of concepts.

I have been tutoring high school students (grades 9-10) for 2 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $20/hour but I am happy to work with my clients on pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I first began tutoring my cousin during my middle school years as he really struggled with math. Math has always been my strong suit and I love being able to help people understand it. It builds an academic confidence that I love to see.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
