What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know my student and their needs by first just talking. We look together ar their work and assess needs. Then I create a plan with them to reach their goals and meet their needs. And we start working on the content.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Language and a Masters in Education with endorsements in Bilingual and ESL. My favorite subject to teach is anything in language, reading and history.
I have most of my experience with elementary students.
My passion is to help others understand and organize information so that they can use it well.
