About

I am a very patient and diligent teacher, I enjoy seeing the look of accomplishment on a students face when they have that 'Aha! I get it!' moment. I will work hard to ensure that students succeed in whatever they are working towards, and try to make it as fun as possible along the way. I obtained my bachelors in environmnetal science then went on to obtain my teaching degree. I have spent 4 years teaching at the high school level but am comfortable teaching k-12 sciences, as well as chemistry at the college level.

Frequently asked questions

After being intoroduced I will aks what the students strengths are and then what they struggle with. I will then ask what they are currently working on. I will learn what stuyle of learning best suits the student and then we will go from there.

I have a bachelors in Environmnetal Science, a certified teaching degree, and have been working with students for the past 4 years. I have also taken many professional development courses throughout my teacher career incprportae into my teaching so that I can better support my students. I have also taken some sign language courses and can help with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

My pricing system is $25.00 per hour for one student and $40.00 for 2 students for one hour.

I have always had a passion for science but also knew I would be a teachoneone day. I combined both of my passions and got to where I am today.

I have worked with gifted students, special educatoppn students and everything inbetween.

I recently had a student understand a difficult chemistry concept, one of the best parts of teaching is that 'Aha!' moment students have where they realise they can and do understand a concept that they were struggiling with.

I would pick a tecaher that you feel comfotable asking questions with. It can be scary to ask for help with a difficult concept so having a teacher who you fell comfotable asking questions to is key to learning.

What are my strengths? What do I struggle with? Which is my prefered learning style?
