What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet with the student either in person or online and get a clear idea of their goals and needs, then work together to ensure this is achieved. I use the SMART goal system to make sure the goals we are working toward are specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and timely.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of experience as a tutor and teacher’s assistant in college, and as a mentor and supervisor of graduate students.

$30 per hour for any subject
How did you get started teaching?
I have a love of Science, Math, and English and want to benefit others with my years of experience.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently tutored a student in chemistry that went from flunking the first test to getting an overall A for the class, and was extremely proud of their accomplishment!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is not just knowledgeable, but has the ability to communicate that knowledge with others in a way they can understand.
