About this tutor

I moved from Spain 4 years ago. I moved here to learn English and I have accomplished what I wanted. I have tutored a couple of kids already, and I am looking to tutor more people so that I can help different kids learn such a helpful language.

I love teaching the language that I have spoken since the day I was born and helping people master it.

Very patient but helpful! He helped me so much with speaking Spanish rather than just knowing how to write it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

If I am helping a kid that is currently taking a Spanish class, I usually help them with their homework and explain further whatever it is their teachers have explained to them during class.

For someone trying to learn Spanish and isn't currently taking a class, I would start with a conversation and the basics of the language.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a student at Yale and I am majoring in Education studies.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I dont have a standard price, the price can be discussed at the beginning of a lesson.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with mostly kids, but I have also worked with two adults that wanted to learn how to speak Spanish.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone that is not only going to teach you the verbs and conjugemos. Look for someone that is going to help you understand the language and become a better speaker.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are you learning in class?

What is it you are struggling with?

What is it you need help with that is going to be most useful.
