Ezra O.

Hi, I'm Ezra! I graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in Statistics. Before starting my job as a data analyst, I wrote my undergraduate thesis on statistical modeling and airplanes -- perhaps my two favorite subjects.

I enjoy working with high-school and middle-school students on STEM areas including statistics, economics, and math (from pre-algebra through multivariable calculus). In high school, I tutored middle-school students in pre-algebra. I also taught guitar to students of many ages, from preschool to high school. Before college, I spent several months volunteering abroad at a boarding school, where I tutored high-school students in math and English.

As a tutor, my goal is to guide students to make an intellectual journey under their own power. My style of tutoring is fairly interactive and designed to allow students to build confidence in their own understanding and problem-solving abilities. I like to ask frequent questions, guiding students to solidify their grasp of concepts and problems.
