About
I am a high school student who just recently took the classes, AP exams, and SAT tests that I intend to tutor students in, so the information, strategies, and resources I used to get stellar scores are still fresh in memory. Because I am in high school, I understand the difficulties of high school classes and can relate to students to help them overcome their academic weaknesses.
I enjoy being able to help students. The students who go out of their way to improve their grades and scores are the most motivated students out there, and it is so rewarding to work with a student, watch them overcome their academic weaknesses, and improve on performance!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I typically sit down with them, and get to know why they believe they struggle is the subject/class/test that they have reached out for tutoring. Then, I would give them a test, and after grading it, analyze the questions that they answered incorrectly. From there, I would assist students with tackling the specific areas of weakness, while also continuing to teach more material that is needed for the course/test.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school student, currently a Senior attending High Tech High School. I have tutored high school students in Algebra I and II, Geometry, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, American Literature, and Biomedical Science. I have tutored students who are studying to improve their average in the class or are studying to get a stellar score on a test (such as the AP exam or an SAT subject test) and have all improved after just a few sessions.
I have also taken a plethora of standardized test including:
Sat I (1520/1600)
Sat II Math 2 Subject test (800/800)
Sat II Biology Subject test (770/800)
AP Seminar (5/5)
AP Biology (4/5)
AP Chemistry (4/5)
AP Language and Composition (4/5)
I have gotten above a 90 average for every class in high school thus far, including my senior year, in which I am currently taking 5 AP classes (Literature, Physics 1, Calculus AB, Research, and Government)
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with both Middle School and High School students.
