What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important aspect of teaching is building a relationship with your students. When their is trust between you and the student there will be more growth.
I would spend sometime getting to know the student and then have the student do an activity so I can assess skill level. The activity would depend on the subject.
I would also like to spend some time on setting an motivation system.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This is my 20th year teaching. I graduated collge in 2000 and have been teaching in the elementary setting ever since.
