I have an Electrical Engineering degree so I am very familiar with most types of Math that highschool or college students will encounter. I also have plenty of patience and experience dealing with kids as I have a little brother whom I personally help with homework all the time. I also have experience helping family friends with their coursework!
It's a great way to help people and help others succeed. I know I benefited from advisors and tutors when I took my tough math classes so now it's my turn to give back and have the same level of patience and care that was given to me!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different so my style will change, with some I might have to repeat things more. With others I might need to do more examples, etc. But the good thing about math is that numbers don't lie! So all I have to do is find the right example that allows them to see how the numbers or equations work together to have success with my students!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored several
times throughout my life, since I was in middle school, and in hischool, a little during college. And also now! And of course I have always taken the most rigorous math and science courses in school which have prepared me for my engineering curriculum at USC where I got an Electrical Engineering degree.

Every situation is different but there is a typical price range that I like to stay within.
How did you get started teaching?
My neighbors asked my to help their kids because they saw that I was excelling in my math and science classes and taking extra advanced classes!

For example, I recently help helped a family friend pass her calculus test. She was super happy when she found out she passed and was immediately free from all the stress she was under .
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with someone who you connect with. I recommend talking to the potential tutor on the phone or doing a video chat and seeing if you like their personality and can connect with them. Most todos are going to have qualifications, some have more experience than others but the most imprints thing is that there is an effective communication and friendly connection and personality that makes the process easy.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They shouldn't be afraid to ask questions. In fact during the whole process they should ask as many questions as possible!
