Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet with a new student after the general introduction, I always try to understand what he/she is going on right now and exactly what he/she is looking for. If I think the way student is moving forward they can make it better by following some other direction, I usually provide some suggestion on it.
Always look for how a student gets benefited.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a couple of certifications and a good amount of training personally as well as from my workplace related to all of my skill sets.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing wise currently I am looking for $45/hrs but I can discuss more it based on student convenience.
How did you get started teaching?
Since I used to have very good experience working as a professional developer, I thought If I might get a chance to share all of my knowledge and experience with people that might help peoples/students to build and grow their careers.
What types of students have you worked with?
I always accept all types of students whether it's from junior school to adult or might be someone professional who needs help. But it should be related to my skill sets.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I worked with a student who is reaching out to me after completing his coding Bootcamp, he wasn't following the discussion as well the homework they provided. So he meets with me one to one and I explained everything that he supposed to need to understand. I tutored him for a month. After 10 days he reached out to me and told me "He got a job as a software developer" and I was really happy to hear that. I wish good luck to my student.
I was really happy that I contribute my knowledge and experience to him and he gets benefited.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say if the student needed any specific area that he is looking for only select that teacher who is related to the skill sets he is looking for.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The student should tell more details about what help he needed.
