What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do a reading and Grammar assessment and discuss a student's goals. I ask the following questions: What kind of help do you need?What would you like to work on first?
When we begin working together, I will provide a list of assignments that we can work on together. If the student needs help with preparing for tests or writing essays, I will be there to assist.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MA from Teachers College,
Columbia University in The Teaching of English
Have taught English on the High School and College level for more than 20 years.
