About
I believe that any student is capabale of earning a high score on a test; I help my student realize their potential by connecting subject knowledge to test-taking strategy. The students that I tutored were very happy with the personalized learning plan that I created. I strive to identify my students' gaps in knowledge and focus on addressing those gaps. Beyond subject matter, I also teach my students test-taking tips and strategies, including time management, handling nervousness, and eliminating incorrect answer choices.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When preparing for a standardized test like the SAT, it's important to asses what the student already knows and what they need more improvement. I will give my students a diagnostic test to determine where they have gaps in their knowledge. Using the results of this test, I will tailor a learning plan specific to the student to teach them what they do not know, reinforce what they already know, and connect subject material knowledge to test-taking strategies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a first-year student at Princeton University, majoring in Computer Science. In high school, I graduated 4th in my class of 323 students. I am AP Scholar with Distinction awardee. I scored a 1550 on the SAT and 800 on both the SAT Subject Tests in Math II and in Physics. Additionally, I scored a 5 on the AP exams for US History, Calculus BC and AB subscore, and Computer Science A. I scored a 4 in the AP exams for Physcis I and World History.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will teach my students everything they need to know for the SAT over the course of 12 weeks, with one session per week. Additionally, students can elect to have one-off sessions, where I teach them specifically what they need to learn. For the course of 12 weeks, I will charge $60/hour. For one-off sessions, I will charge $100/hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from high school (typically 10th and 11th graders) for preparing to take the SAT. Additionally, I've tutored students from 7th through 12th grade in middle and high school math (through AP Calculus BC), physics (through AP Physics C), and computer science (through AP Computer Science A).
