Eileen Amato, M.ED.

I am a retired reading/ special education teacher who misses teaching. I've tutored often in the past. Although I've worked mostly with school aged students, the program I rely on to teach reading was originally designed for adults. It is phonics-based and is usually successful. Also, I taught the deaf for several years so I have a good language background.

I have my undergraduate degree in Teacher of the Deaf and my Master's in Special Ed. I feel that is my extensive years of experience that make me qualified for this position.
