George Tutoring
About
I have extensive experience in general mathematics, calculus, physics, and I have a degree in aerospace engineering. I've tutored friends and family before in these topics and have helped them excel in their classes.
I definitely enjoy helping people to learn math and science because I still remember what it was like to learn these topics myself not too long ago. I remember how much effort it took to go from not knowing anything to becoming comfortable with a topic. So, helping others learn topics I had to basically teach myself is a very rewarding experience.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Generally we can meet in a videocall first or have a normal phone call. After the inital meeting we can continue to do online sessions or in-person sessions. I will ask what topic you are having trouble with, and we can go over some of your class' homework, assignments, tests, and so on. I can guide you through these and explain the steps, why these steps are taken and so on. I will of course try to change my strategy to best fit the student. My goal is to help you learn and feel comfortable with the topic.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering and I am currently receiving my Masters of Science.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My general pricing is $25 for an online session and my sessions are generally 45-60 minutes long depending on the students needs. In person tutoring is $30-35 per session depending on distance.
How did you get started teaching?
I started by helping friends and family with their coursework and classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
Highschool and College students.
