About
Tailored Tutors was started by veteran educator with 15 years experience teaching high school and tutoring test prep. We blossomed into a small-scale tutoring operation with a focus on quality over quantity. Our plans are highly personalized and our tutors are vetted throroughly and put through an extensive training process. We have been contracted by private and non-profit agencies to help them educate their student body or workforce. Our agency has worked with every type of student imaginable, including but not limited, elite students intending to score near perfect on their SAT or AP exams on their way to Ive League institutions, Autistic youth and adults, students with learning disabilities such as ADHD and Dyslexia, adult learners, K-12 age students, college students, and even members of the workforce looking to improve performance or advance their career.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We used experience-derived methodology to create a unique plan for each our students. Only after extensive conversation with the parents/student, and a preliminary session, de we decide on how exactly to approach each particular case.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have 15 years of experience teaching High School and tutoring test prep. My tutors are not hired without at least 5 years teaching experience and advanced degrees in education or the subject they specialize in.

How did you get started teaching?
I started my career in education as an intern for a non-profit agency, specializing in providing test prep and college counseling to impoverished or at risk youth at no charge. I fell in love with helping others and have not stopped since.
