I've also tutored math from algebra to calculus to multivariable and linear algebra.

I have a PhD in physics but I prefer teaching students!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I typically ask students for a brief background so I can better tailor our sessions. I'll also ask for a copy of the material they're working on (although it's not necessary). I like to review the work before meeting so that I can make our sessions as efficient as possible.
