Tutor For Dyslexic Students In The Wilson Reading Curriculum
About
My program stands out being a center specific to the needs of Dyslexic students. The gratification in teaching a child or an adult to be a successful reader makes my Job extremely rewarding. Beginning with guiding the parent in designing a program that meets their child's individual needs, to modifications to existing educational plans makes it a specialized reading center. I have been teaching the Wilson program since 1982 and was one of the first pioneers in teaching and advocating for the Dyslexic child and adult. I have a BA and Masters degree in Special Education . I am certified in both Level 1 and the advanced level of the Wilson Curticulum and I am a certified Academic Language Therapist. I love coming to work everyday knowing I charge children's lives by teaching them to read. There is nothing more gratifying than hearing from my former students that are now on the Supreme Court or CEO's of highly successful businesses . My students keep in touch with me over the many years and inform me of their new ventures and successes.
