About
Hello! My name is Suhita and I would love to chat about your tutoring needs. I am currently applying to medical school after completing a rigorous post-baccalaureate program at Scripps College, where I finished all pre-medical course requirements in one year. My coursework included biology, physics, and chemistry. Before pursuing medicine, I spent three years in strategy and operations at a healthcare company, following my graduation from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Neuroscience and Healthcare Management.
I have nearly 10 years of tutoring experience and enjoy working 1:1 with students across a variety of subjects, and have worked with students ranging from elementary school all the way to adult learners. I enjoy helping students build confidence in English (reading, writing, vocabulary, and more), as well as in Math (elementary through high school), and in all core sciences. I also have experience with standardized test preparation and academic advising. I can assist with the SAT, college applications, MCAT preparation, and the medical school admissions process. I personally scored a 2330/2400 on the SAT and in the 91st percentile on the MCAT, so I understand the rigor involved in test prep as well as how to manage stress.
My goal is to meet students where they are, build strong foundations, and help them feel excited about learning. After studying a wide variety of subjects, I am also well-versed in various study methods, time management strategies, and helpful resources. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
