What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During my tutoring sessions, I like to provide alot of structure to facilittate comprehension as opposed to simply answering questions for example, from a practice problem set. As a nexample, if the student is currently learning about gases in chemistry class and is having difficulty understanding how to use the gas-law formula, answering practice problems is fine but I like to provide back ground one how all of the variables are correlated and the basis of the formula itself.
