Reading Bridge Tutor

With 10+ years of experience working with students ages four to 10, I teach students who have dyslexia, children working below grade level, and children who want to improve their reading skills by teaching lessons that are based in research and in the science of reading. Within 6 months of online tutoring, students' decoding abilities improve and students look forward to tutoring sessions!

I hold a Master's degree in Education and have taught Kindergarten and First Grade in the Los Angeles Unified School District. I hold additional certifications for reading improvement, such as Orton-Gillingham.

Orton-Gillingham is a specialized teaching method that is effective for teaching students with reading difficulties. It focuses on teaching sound-symbol correspondences in a systematic, multi-sensory, and language based methodology.
