Kevin

Hello! My name is Kevin, and this is my seventh year as a tutor. I am a graduate of Colgate University with a Bachelor's degree in Education specializing in Biology, History, and Proofreading. My educational philosophy is to support all students in being academically successful. I believe that as an educator, I have the opportunity to encourage and motivate all students to achieve academic success. Furthermore, I believe that students' academic success is individualized and specific, which is why it is my job as an educator to incorporate good instruction, classroom management, and the presence of various teaching styles in a classroom.

I am accustomed to working in a multicultural environment that emphasizes the inclusion of the English language. Collaborate with business community members to improve programs, develop new programs, and provide students access to learning opportunities such as internships. I have taught History classes to a wide range of students of different ages and abilities (KS3 & KS4). Additionally, I am proficient in planning lessons and courses in detail. Teaching English and History in the past has been a booster to me in delivering curriculum support and development to the learners.

To the best of my ability, I would ensure that I add value to the students so they can progress well in their academic journey. As a committed, inspirational and motivated teacher with the drive and ambition to hit the ground running, I believe we can all achieve greatness.
