I have worked with students of all variety's- from gifted students to exceptional learners. With a holistic pedicological approach, I assist students in accessing the tools they need to be successful and lifelong learners.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first time meeting a student, I prefer to let them guide me. I want to know who they are and how they approach learning.
I ask to see writing samples as well as conduct diagnostic reading and writing assessments based on the QRI-VI and the IRLA.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a special education and general education teacher in the New York DOE.
i have taught 6th-12th grade English, Social Studies, Civics, and Government as well as New York State Regents Preparation for 9-12th grade.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Based on the needs of my students, I work on a sliding scale. Pricing is dependant upon the scope and sequence of sessions.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have been fortunate to work with a variety of exceptional children, from gifted students to students with multiple learning disabilities.
My students have ranged between reading levels A-J, from the highest performing to the student with the most struggles. My current student population consists of ELL and ESOL, Speech and Language Disabilities, Students with Autism, and the Gifted Learners Program.
