She is so loving and caring. When she is with my son I can trust her. And my son has improved in his reading so much thanks to her!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talk over the phone about the student's needs and on the course of first lesson I make my own assessment. I get paid on that first lesson, and after that first lesson the student orr the parents of a student decide if they want to continue with more lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English, concentration in Literature, with a Spanish Minor. I have ten years experience in HomeSchooling, and have worked at United Cerebral Palsy, Esperanza Center, Upward Bound Program, in teaching or assistant teaching positions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I teach lessons by hour, no half hours.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working as an Assistant Teacher at United Cerebral Palsy in Manhattan.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children, toddlers, adolescents and adults with Special Needs or without.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The fascination and admiration of one of my students with the fact that in Spanish, you use two question marks and two interrogation marks; instead of one at the end of a sentence like in the English Language.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be honest and clear with your wants and needs. Be specific, but also let the tutor give you her or his input.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Any question that could help the student learn more and achieve his or her goals. Any question about perceived limitations, obstacles and how the Tutor could help the student overcome those.
