Itina Bivens ' Reading, Writing Tutor: K-6th Grade

Hello students and parents. I am a compassionate, kind, warm person who likes to make others comfortable around me. I am a mature older woman who has worked with students from Infancy to Middle school as a Camp Counselor, Teacher Aide, After School Programs and Private Home/ Library Tutor for various tutoring companies. I would be an excellent choice because I will listen and hear the student and work together on the areas that need improvement. I have worked with different ages of youth over 20 years. I believe

the One-to-one approach is best to give individual attention that a student can't find in the classroom always. I do not drink or smoke. Also , I do not drive or have a Driver's License so I can only work with students in the Bronx to give me enough time to travel to your destination by public transportation. I can work at a public library close to your house/ area as a public space. I'm allergic to animals. Therefore, I can't come to your home
