About this tutor

As a tutor, I will go through the material you are having trouble with, I will start with the basics and help build up concepts to solidify your knowledge.

To help reinforce the material it's best to practice questions which I can make or help you through. I will also assist with your homework and help clarify the concepts that are still unclear.

I have been teaching anatomy, chemistry, physiology, immunology for 3 years now at school. I am in my 3rd year of medical school, so I definitely understand how material doesnt always make sense, I think with a simplified and with a little more repetition you will find my teaching method easy and will see improvements in grades!

My name is Ruby, and Rav taught me 1st year chemistry in undergrad. Honestly, I hate chemistry, but Rav made it super easy to follow and helped with my homework too. Even when I didn't understand a concept, she would revisit the same concept but in a different way to really drive home the idea. I really liked her patience and she really puts in the effort to ensure you understand! Great tutor!

Rav helped me with immunology, honestly would have failed the class without her! She really made the material easy to understand and to the point! I liked the flowcharts she make, and step by step process! Especially as a med school student as well, it helped me really grasp the concepts!

Hi, my name is Ali. I was a tutored by Rav for the MCAT, she helped me with biology and chemistry aspect. I really liked her teaching style, I liked when she used drawing and flowcharts that helped concise the info and focus on the main points. I really liked the the practice questions we did, that helped understand the material better. Learning to approach the question really helped! My MCAT score really improved! I wouldn't have been able to do it without her!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Starting off with your questions then going from a simple concept then building it up! Solidifying the concept with practice questions help identify areas of improvement, so I usually begin with asking some questions and starting from what you know and building on to that!
