Bailey Ruff

I am a current high school student in Montclair with 3 years of tutoring experience. I volunteer for the non-profit organization Succeed2gether providing tutoring services to underprivileged students. My goal for my students is to instill the same passion for learning in them that I harbor. I believe that education should be accessible, enriching, and inclusive. I am open to working with students of all abilities and customizing my tutoring strategies to meet the needs of my clients. I employ a combination of memorization techniques and involved exercises to help my students comprehend material and retain information. As a Trig/Calc Honors student and attendee of summer programs at Northwestern University for mathematics and social studies, I am qualified to work with more advanced middle and high school students. That being said, I very much enjoy tutoring younger elementary schoolers to improve their reading ability and comprehension as well as their foundational math skills. I also look forward to working with older students to offer them academic support and study skills that will influence their college careers.
