Abiha Kazmi

My name is Abiha Kazmi and I am Pre-K and Elementary School teacher. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with my Bachelors and Masters in Arts of Teaching. I have completed a Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing for Elementary Education. During my Student Teaching experience, I have become familiarized with Lucy Calkin’s Guided Reading Program, Informal Reading Inventories, and STEM Education. I am skilled in lesson planning, implementing cooperative learning within the classroom to promote positive relationships among students, and differentiated instruction.

As a person fluent in multiple languages including English, Urdu, Hindi and an understanding of Punjabi, I believe I will be able to help English Language Learners to the best of my ability.

I have always had a love and passion for teaching. O am always eager to teach and learn with each of my students. I believe a teaching is a profession where one must never stop learning or growing!
