About
I can tutor in many different areas of math and science as I graduated with a Bachelors in Neuroscience Biochemistry from Claremont McKenna College which is a academically demanding, elite, top 10 ranked Liberal Arts College with a 9% acceptance rate. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and can tutor anyone from elementary school to college levels. I am adept at explaining complex concepts in an efficient and an easily understandable format.
I really enjoy helping people and I find the work very rewarding. I also feel that honing my teaching skills is transferable toward any future endeavor.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with the student to define a goal and develop a strategy to achieve the goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken all the honors and AP level courses in science, math, and spanish at a rigorous high school. I have also taken Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Neuroscience courses at Claremont McKenna College. I have been hired by my college to be a chemistry lab assistant, a biology teaching assistant, and a biology tutor. With regard to my spanish proficiency, I studied abroad in Spain where I was immeresed in only spanish speaking communities for 4 months.

Pricing is depedent on student level, subject matter, magnitude of the project and/or frequency of sessions. Generally, my hourly rate is $40.
