Jan DeVecchis

My name is Jan or I am often called, Miss D. I am an avid gardener, an artist, I love music and concerts and spending time with my family and my 2 dogs. I have a Bachelors of Art in Visual Arts/Psychology, am certified as an Art Teacher K-12 and Elementary Teacher K-8 and in the past decade, I have worked as a Certified Counselor. I worked as a public high school art teacher, taught people with learning disabilities, have tutored high school students in most subjects and taught piano at an early age. I have a positive mental attitude, am very encouraging and am great with people of all ages. I have worked collaboratively and individually with students to achieve their goals and to move forward in their educational journey. I have a lot of patience and teaching has come natural to me. I am very passionate about helping others to become the best version of themselves. :)
