I have taught in the elementary and middle school settings for 10+ years. I am currently a special education teacher. I seek to make learning interactive, fun, and engaging. I see each student as a unique individual and customize a plan specific to their needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will use the the first session to get to know the student and to assess the skills the student can already master as well as though skills the student may struggle with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Education and am certified in NJ k-6 in general and special education. I have been teaching over 10 years and have been in a self- contained room for the past 6 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $30 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I went to school for it because I was a struggling reader growing up and I wanted to help others that struggle to read as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary to middle school students. I have taught general education classes in 6, 7, and 8th grades and currently teach in a 3-5 special education program.
