Biology And Chemistry Tutoring

I am currently working as a Reagent Chemist in biotech and I'm a graduate from Plymouth State University, with a B.S. in Biology. While I was in college, I was a TA for General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Neurobiology. I worked with students in the lab and classroom, where I assisted with any questions or challenges they had. I even made demonstration/lesson videos for students during the pandemic. I also did scientific research on biological clocks and horseshoe crabs as part of my studies! I am planning to eventually go to graduate school and work towards a PhD. These subjects make up a large part of me and I want to share and pass this knowledge down to others! These subjects can be difficult to understand or master ( I was no exception towards many topics, at first, too), which is why I believe that no person should feel embarrassed or stupid for struggling to grasp these concepts. Everyone absorbs information at different rates and within their own unique way of understanding. This is why believe in teaching through being accommodating and patient. My goal, as a tutor, is to make the process of learning exciting and have the student walk out, knowing they gained deeper insight (major or minor. Either one is good!) into the world which they are trying to understand or prepare for.
