Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I will usually ask to see the materials that they need help with before our first session. That way I am able to prepare a few introductory questions to get a gauge of where they are in their learning. As well as prepare any supplemental material or questions that I believe will help the student.
How did you get started teaching?
My first teaching experience was a volunteer trip I did in high school with a nonprofit called PurpleWagon. Where I had to amazing opportunity to teach math and English in Tibet. I used the knowledge and experience I gained from that in lesson planning and how to best help students to continue tutoring students of all ages.
What types of students have you worked with?
I am happy to work with students of any age. From 1st grade all the way through highschool.
