Hi! My name is Emma Carlson. I am currently a junior at Creighton University seeking a BSBA, only a few semesters left and I will be attending Creighton Law School. I am extremely passionate about education and believe that doing well in school is one of the most important things in any child's, teen's or young adult's life. I academically excel in any subject I take and am willing and able to help any student succeed as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost, building a foundation based on trust and mutual respect is extremely important when trying to benefit from any casual or professional relationship. Along with getting to know each other, having conversations with parents and the student is important to establish learning types, goals and motivations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With being a college student, I have had to adapt to multiple forms of teaching and have been a different kind of learner in each classroom. Along with this, I have the patience and knowledge to help any student find their 'niche' when it comes to their learning style. Along with this, I tutored in high school.
