About
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Human Anatomy from Boise State University. I am currently a second year PhD student, working on my biomedical PhD in Cancer Research. I have 2 years of experience teaching science and math to elementary school students as an intern; and I have 2 years of experience tutoring in math and biology for grades 6-12.
I genuinely enjoy learning myself, and love having the oppurtunity to instill that passion in others. It brings me joy to see students capabilities grow and succeed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do not tutor every student the same. I teach/tutor each student based on their preferred learning style visual/aural/kinesthetic/etc. I can provide links to take quick and easy tests to determine your best learning style if you are not sure! I like to assess the amount of material a student is comfortable with based in the subject they are struggling with, help them identify where there is room for improvment, and begin there.
